What InboxFamily is

InboxFamily is email for one family on a domain the family owns. You pick a name like thegarcias.com, we buy the domain, set up the mail server and write every record it needs, and everyone in the house gets an address in about five minutes.

It is deliberately small: one domain, up to six mailboxes, ten aliases and a catch-all address, webmail in any browser, and the mail apps you already use. There is no shared drive, no calendar and no admin console with a hundred switches.

Why it exists

Plenty of families want their own address and give up the moment a setup guide mentions MX records. The services that handle mail on your own domain are built for companies, priced per seat, and assume someone in the house enjoys configuring them. InboxFamily does the technical part for you and charges one price for the whole family.

How it pays for itself

You pay $19 a month for the family, and the domain once at signup. That is the whole business. There are no ads, and nothing in a mailbox is read or scanned for marketing.

Where your mail is kept

Mailboxes live on our own mail server in Helsinki, Finland. Outgoing mail is sent through Amazon in Frankfurt, and encrypted nightly backups are stored with Cloudflare. The details, and what authorities can and cannot ask for, are on the Privacy and Law enforcement requests pages.

Who runs it

InboxFamily is run by W3, Podcienie 2, 43-300 Bielsko-Biała, Poland, VAT ID PL6462636764. W3 is the business you sign up with and the one responsible for your data.
